"Zero in the way of formal credentials for this reviewing lark, but an extensive CD collection, more gigs than I care to remember, and an interest in all things "heavy rock" that some claim borders on obsessive will have to do instead.
I've also played in various Bristol based bands since the mid-80's, and done a few stints as a sound engineer too, so have an idea of how things should sound. Also, I'd like to say sorry in advance if some of my reviews turn into a bit of a tech-fest - it really IS important that the bass player is using the new Mesa Boogie hybrid amp set up you know!!! Well, important to me anyway.....
