Barking Dog Studios is situated in North Bristol. The studios have been designed and produced to a very high standard, complying with all building and fire regs as well as acoustic excellence. It has 3 good sized kennels/rooms which are to 'recording studio' standard. Each room contains a top quality 1000watt p.a. with JBL 15" speakers and hi-end drum kit, all your drummer needs to bring is cymbals and drum sticks. There is also a dry wipe marker board in each kennel.
 

Available for a small additional cost to hiring the room, Kennel 2 features a unique add on facility which is a 'live recording simulation'. 2 boundary mikes attached to the wall which when connected to a Roland CD2 becomes a
live cd recorder, ideal for creative writing/don't want to forget your new riff or drum pattern? want to hear/, test your set out? or to create a live feel recording then this is the ideal tool!! (this has become very popular in the states), it was even good enough for GWR's Rock School to record and play over the air. Many bands that have used this facility have been very happy with the result and used the cd for myspace music usage or to get gigs.
 

Very competitive rates, refreshments, level access/entry and easy parking. Each band that uses the facilities gets free publicity via the website, and we have even set up a promotional side to the business getting 'Bristol Bands' gigs, first one already announced, see Bristol Rocks or Barking Dog Studios website.
