As you may or not be aware but myself and the singer of BandX are also in
BandY and as a result of your web site we have seen an increase of hits on
our site and have also been booked by venues that are new to us.
The new Bristol Rock web site looking good and makes it easier to link our

A few months back I sent a tune to you for the
home recording section, and as this was as far as I had got at the time,
asked your advice on doing open mic. The advice you gave me was heeded,
i.e., 'do upbeat tunes and not bore the audience' etc. anyway to cut to
the chase, I bit the bullet and did it. it went down a storm. (once
one fellow performer actually got on his knees and started bowing at me as
i came off, and he wasn't pissed either). Up to now I've done 7 open mic's and
really enjoying both the playing and meeting great people.
So Many Many Thanks
Your advice spurred me on and for that i will
be forever grateful.
So keep doing good stuff pal

Got the all the bootleg kit through a couple
of days ago, great stuff, you're performing a real service! Good to meet
up with people who are so dedicated to the cause.
Let us know when the first Bristol Rocks
concert happens it would be fantastic to play . . .

have been working very hard over the last 3 months to get it together.

Hi Kevin,
I just wanted to drop you a line to say a big
well done on the "Bristol Rocks" website. I've just had a good browse
through the site, and I'm astonished at the amount of work you've put in -
and for no initial commercial gain! It's fantastic!
I think it was you (I'm rubbish at remembering
names!) that I met at out gig at the Kellaway last night. We really
enjoyed the gig, and are looking forward to seeing the footage on the
site.

Please can you
remove the ad that I placed on 17/5/06 (42 year old guitar player, based
Bristol/S. Glos etc.)? I am pleased to still get responses, but don't need
to run the ad anymore.
