Alex Harvest and Shireen topped the bill at one of Alfie's  acoustic Sundays at the Kellaway Arms. Alex's fine song Iceblock is featured on Bristol Rocks and is from his CD . Alex and Shireen played an acoustic set of original material with a unique flavour.

They started with a song from the CD called 'Magic touch'

The Kellaway arms is in the process of refurbishment, the landlord is a great fan of live music and is in the process of building a stage area for his events. With the right exposure, the Kellaway will become one of Bristol's best music venues.

Alex is a talented songwriter and musician, his style is highly individual and he is obviously getting noticed because I heard Iceblock played on Radio 2 recently.

Alex is not mainstream and his music and style are an acquired taste, I think that his songs are excellent and the performance at the Kellaway was as good as can be expected from two talented people and one acoustic guitar. I can't wait to see the whole band play live.
