eleven eleven are Colin Gittens (drums),
Nick Koulias (bass, lead vocals) and Ryan Richards (guitar). All three love
what they do and do what they love. Rock.
A melodic three piece based in Bristol, eleven eleven have spent their
career to date building up a loyal and enthusiastic following in the South
West. Formed in the summer of 2004, the band recorded their first demo in
December of that year. Containing three tracks (Things Go Wrong, If I Fall
and Hyperactive Imagination), the band used this recording to get gigs in
and around Bristol.
Between April and July 2005 the band were involved in the Emergenza National
Unsigned Battle of the Bands competition. During their run to the national
final they took in venues such as the Fiddlers and Carling Academy in
Bristol, and the infamous Mean Fiddler venue in London. The band eventually
took fourth place in the national final.
Since then they have been gigging regularly and recording the songs which,
together with their initial three track demo, would become their first long
player. Entitled We Never Dare, the album was co written by all three
members of the band and defines eleven eleven's sound. Melodic and catchy,
the songs make you sit up and take notice.
The band are now branching out into London and have many showcase events
lined up in the next few months. They are hoping to take their sound to a
new audience further afield, while still playing gigs at local venues such
as The Louisiana, The Croft, and The Fleece and Firkin to keep in touch with
their loyal fan base.
