Doing fine is all of these things and if you like simple, energetic riff based guitar music, you will like 'Doing fine'. |

Doing fine is a single from Undercut's first album '96 Hours'. The blurb that comes with the CD single says that the album was recorded as live in 4 days, hence the title. Well yes Mr sales blurb writer, It may have been recorded in 4 days, but it most certainly wasn't mixed and mastered in four days or I'm a pink hippopotamus. The two tracks on the single have had many hours of production to produce the excellent recorded sound. |

Butterflies is the second track submitted and I prefer this to the single release. The vocal quality is top notch on this one and although it is not as energetic as 'Doing fine' it has a greater dynamic range that makes it more listenable to my ear. |

I can't fault anything on these tracks, if Undercut can perform live then they have a winning combination on their hands. One of the Bristol Rocks team will get a live review ASAP. Watch this space....... |
