Biography
Bristol based, Sliced Peach can be summed up in three words energetic,
fun-loving and flamboyant. This five piece female-fronted band performed on
the sell out Sic Puppy Tour with "Son of Dork" Last year and since then have
been wooing audiences around the UK with their infectious sun-kissed Rock
music.
This band have been pushing the boundaries in the live music arena, so much
so that at a recent packed London gig one unsuspected listener was overheard
saying that they were "as tight as a sharks arse". Not surprising though as
they have been playing together since the bands creative driving force Drew
Wale and Leading lady vocalist Leigh North teamed up at college in 2004. The
duo are a formidable writing force, the
Batman and Cat woman of the industry.
Armed with an array of potential hits in their set, which includes a
brilliant cover version of the Blondie classic "Call Me", they continue to
win the hearts of fans around the country. With the imminent release of
their debut album "Made in LA" Sliced Peach continues to strive for the slot
of one to watch out for in 2008!
