| Redfall are young and they are very original. I
have been listening to this CD every day this for a week and it is excellent. The
recording quality is a little suspect but the originality of the songs
shines through this like a beacon. It sounds as though the tracks have been
recorded live and this adds a raw edge to the quality songs. Someone has
even gone to the trouble of spraying the CDR surface black, probably for my
benefit. Nice touch! |

| Released is fast
and funky with some brilliant surprises like the unexpected rap section. |
| Song Noir is an
unusual song, starts a bit like lithium ego and then builds into something
completely different. I think that this is what I like so much about Redfall,
they do not follow musical convention. |
| Captioned yet subliminal
is however a little more conventional but far from dull with a half tempo
chorus and a rather brilliant ending. |
| Cathedral is
inspirational. More like this please!! |
| Companion is a nice
funky tune. |
| Soul Junk is for me
the REALLY outstanding track on this album. You will not have heard anything
like this before. |
| |
| Redfall have what every band & artist strive
for, originality. It is because of this that the album gets a
BRISTOL ROCKS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED award and
slips directly into our CD top 10. |
