Red Light GO are
part of the new wave of electro rock. They produce simple infectious
pop
songs delivered with a raw energy. Showing a real pop sensibility in their
song writing, Red Light Go combine some of the best bits from the 60's,
70's, 80's and 90's and produce
a
sound which is fresh and modern. The sound encompasses a number of genres,
from
pop
to punk, indie to electro, rock to rave. The band has been likened to,
amongst others,
Depeche
mode, New Order and The Cure as well as up to date acts like The Killers,
Kaiser Chiefs and Snow Patrol.
Formed in 2005 the band released their
debut EP ‘Was It You’ and digital releases of ‘Take the Picture’ on
Chromium Records and ‘Writing on the Wall’ on Moyst
Records that
year
2006 saw the release of their self titled
debut album, live radio sessions on both local and
national
radio including the Radio 6 breakfast show and

headlined
at some of the regions biggest venues. They also received critical acclaim

various
festivals, including performances on the Main stage at Ashton Court
Festival and

Festival.
Red Light Go have recently undergone a
few line -up changes and are now working on a
