Mike Ashdown originally from Sussex, has been around the
Bristol folk scene for some time
now learning the trade. In that time he has turned into a prolific song
writer of some note and steadily gathering a loyal following of fans. To
date he has written 9 albums. He has progressed technically as well as
musically, from the days of old 'Hand Me Down Tape Machines' to the state of
the art digital recording.
His musical influences among others are:-
Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Van Morrison, Paul Weller, Elvis Costello & Cat
Stevens.
