Malago

Since their formation, malago have gone from "bright indie hopefuls" to the "freshest breathe of pop-filled air to come out of Bristol for years". For this, song writing brothers Sean and Alec Snook guitar/vocals and keyboard/backing vocals respectively, bass/backing vocals Miz and drummer Stacy thank the bands love of the "perfect song".
Their music has been described as "Beautiful, aggressive melancholic pop". It's precisely this combination that has appealed to audiences up and down the country whilst doing tour supports for artists such as Duels, I Am Kloot, The Blueskins, Camille Miller and Electric Soft Parade, along the way picking up a lot of support from press and Radio.  They have recently caught the interest of top London Producer, Junk Scientist whose previous credits include The Music, Crash Convention, British Sea Power and Finka, hooking up with malago to produce their latest recording.

Malago are no strangers to live sessions, interviews, tracks being A-listed on digital Radio and several reviews and articles in various publications and webzines including the BBC live music guide.

Their harmony-laden songs, performed with sincerity, attitude and a wry sense of humour, are both energetic and uplifting.  They sound just as good live as they do on CD.

Malago bring energy and sparkle to our dull lives with powerful melodic songs that are totally infectious.
