Loci - Filtered to Function

CD Review by Kevin from Bristol Rocks

Loci have submitted one of the best looking CD's that we have seen, clever artwork with a professional covering leaflet. So....can the musical content from this Bristol based 3 piece live up to the packaging?

Zweifel is track one. This song is a masterpiece, it has loud & quiet, it has a half tempo section, it has excellent lead and backing vocal parts, it is in a word 'awesome'.

Iodine is a powerful rock ballad, Janet Jauregui's haunting backing vocal gives this song the something extra that takes it to the 'must listen too' category.

Fluke is another well structured song. A fast rocker with Ben Rosser's Nirvana like vocal style that must make Loci one of Bristol's best live acts.

Trinity, cult of insects and Sad lonely Stereotype are all excellent tracks, I will not describe them because as you know, the only way to appreciate fine music is to listen to it.

We here at Bristol Rocks cannot fault Filtered to Function. This album is superbly recorded and mastered, the content and artwork is top notch. These qualities place this album in Bristol Rocks coveted 'Highly Recommended' category.

Get yourself a copy or you can suck my hairy balls.
