JetKing play a hybrid combination of
Indie and Electronica, and sold out their first ever live
performance at the Louisiana in July through a combination of
internet marketing and word of mouth. They have also played at the
Barfly in Liverpool supporting indie/electronica band Rubik and are
gaining a lot of media attention. Their music is a mish-mash of very
diverse influences, but if you like Kasabian, Beck, Primal Scream,
or The Charlatans, chances are you'll like them. Its a gutsy,
powerful sound with a quirky edge and reactions from audiences have
been very favourable. They have gained a lot of momentum and media
coverage in their brief life as a live band, and are tipped for
bigger things.
