The first track 'Second time lucky' is brilliant-excellent-superb. Yes that's right, I quite like this track! Brilliant hook, lovely distorted tuneful bass line, good dynamic range, energy. This track is very very good. problem is, how do you follow a track like that? I guess the title says it all. 'SOS' is a good track, well recorded and full of Figments usual energy. An excellent live track. |

'Careless Talk' is more high energy rock from one of Bristol's best live bands. An interesting distortion backing vocal and balls out energy make this track a cut above the average. 'Death Disco' is another very good track, some great vocal attitude on this one. |

This review was quite difficult because track 1 is so good. This does not mean that tracks 2-3&4 are not good, they are top notch energy rock, but in my opinion second time lucky has the extra secret ingredient that makes it a potential big money earner. Well done chaps, more like this please!! The CD also contains a video of the track better days, watch this and see what Figment are all about, high energy. This CD receives a Bristol Rocks 'Highly Recommended' GET IT. |
