Brendon Steep EP Review

By Kevin - Bristol Rocks

Louisiana is the first track on this excellent CD by Brandon Steep. This is a fine guitar based melodic song with plenty going on to keep a listener interested. I can't fault this one, play it at any time & it will cheer your day.

Hills & Trees is more of an album track where Louisiana is a single.

The woodland regiment is an interesting ballad at one minute long! Should have been the last track on the CD.

Quintessential is excellent because it is so eccentric. This song was written because it had to be and not to please someone else. Love it!

Hiding in the undergrowth is another excellent track that I can listen to again & again, a touch of Syd Barrett's early Floyd with a pinch of Gorillas thrown in? You can't possibly imagine it....you will just have to buy it and enjoy.

This is a well recorded and crafted EP. Good tunes well performed, a little quirky.
I can't fault anything and for this reason the CD earns a
'Bristol Rocks Highly Recommended'
