| Benita Johnson has
produced an acoustic showcase of her moody, thoughtful &
intelligent songs. Just Benita and her guitar, as you would see
her in one of her many live performances around Bristol. All
that glitters is probably the most commercial song in the
showcase, an up-tempo track that with a bit of work in the
studio could have real potential. Firefly however is what
Benita does best, 'I cry to think that you don't know how
beautiful you are' a lyric from this excellent track that
has one of the most haunting vocal performances that you are
likely to hear, nothing more needed here, just the lady and her
acoustic. This showcase CD gives a sample of Benita's
potential, the songs are good, her voice is perfect. Sign her
up, give her a studio and a backing band!!
