Born
out of a 5 piece rock/pop outfit (Johnny and the Darkclouds) The
Baggys had to change musical direction when their singer decided
to go walkabout in Oz. We were all into the Madchester vibe of the
mid-eighties, early nineties, and quickly settled on becoming a
Madchester tribute band covering The Happy Mondays, Stone Roses,
Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets, EMF, etc, and AC/DC. Ok, I lied
about AC/DC.
We
adopted suitable Manc personas to complete the Baggy effect:
Mungo
- Guitar and Lead Vocals (Just to the right of Carlos the Jackal)
Tin
Tin - Drums, BV's (Underneath madchester and to the right of the
feet)
Our
Kid - Guitar, Keyboard, BV's (Just to the right of the moo cow)
