Another Wasted
Night are a Portishead based band, who formed in late 2003. Their music is
generally said to be a mix of haunting progressive rock and indie, but it’s
a fresh and new style, not tried by many other bands. They use the minimal
guitar/bass/vox/drums format to fill huge spaces and create atmospheric
soundscapes. The vocal melodies follow contemporary styles, meaning the
music is enjoyable to a very wide, general audience. This is reflected by
the bands commercial success on the radio and in the live circuit. Though
their EP is due for release in early 2006, they are an energetic live
experience that cannot be missed. |
