Following 15 years
fronting the Phil Hilborne Band, (www.philhilborne.com) touring the UK and
Europe, Andy moved to Taunton, and went into semi-retirement in 1999, to
concentrate on teaching music, his family, and other personal projects.
Still occasionally
playing with Phil Hilborne, he performed at the London Guitar Show in May
this year, together with Nicko McBrain (drummer with Iron Maiden) and Phil
Hilborne, and also completed a Drum-Clinic Tour with Phil and Nicko at the
end of Sept 05.
Andy is now gigging
again, together with local Session Drummer James Hester, and Ken Thompson on
Guitar, performing high-energy classic rock covers in his own inimitable
style, fronting The ‘Andy Frost Band’ on Bass/Vocals. |
